I had a great stay at Marine Tourist Guest House At Negombo Beach. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. The owner, Nishan, was friendly and helpful, providing useful information about the area. The AC and hot water worked well, and I enjoyed the view from the balcony. I would highly recommend this guest house for a budget-friendly stay in Negombo.

the location was ideal - just a short walk down a path to the beach and surrounded by numerous restaurants. The value for money was exceptional, with reasonable prices for the comfortable rooms. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail, such as lockers provided on the upper floors to keep my valuables safe. Additionally, the staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel like a welcomed guest in their home. The basic amenities were all in place, including air conditioning in the rooms. a great experience!

In my opinion the person who runs rentals is pivotal & very important for the aura of this place has to offer.. The owner of MARINE has a always bright smile and is willing to do anything to help. His place has a nice vice and atmosphere. I recently had a fantastic stay at a beachfront guest house in Sri Lanka. The hotel was great value for money, offering affordable prices for such a prime location. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, even giving tips on local attractions and dining options. The room itself was spacious and well-furnished, with a view that stretched out to the sea. The attention to detail was impressive, with amenities like air conditioning and a nice bathroom. Plus, breakfast was included, which was a great way to start the day. this hotel had everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

A great value place for money! A nice hotel we should say instead of guesthouse as classified. Close to airport, located near beach, a nice restaurant and bar just next few shop houses on the left, walking distance to the famous fish market and town! The room is very spacious, clean and disinfected, the sheets and linen are fresh. All in all, we really found a great value for money for the first and last day in Sri Lanka.

Place run by a family of 2 brothers and mom. They are friendly and offer advice on trips. They help to budget. There is security camera. Rooms are of a nice size. There is cable TV. Free Wi-fi is available in dining area only.

Louvres above front door look into the room. Wash basin water trickles. 1 dead cockroach in room. Fridge moldy. Curtains - able to see silhouettes in the room from the street. French window cannot lock properly. TV sometimes no signal. Traffic noise. Room not clean for 5 days stay.

Close to airport and beach, clean facilities, friendly staff, easy access to restaurants.

No TV in the room, no A/C They charged us 15 US$ for basic breakfast that was included in the price. Blue Elephant Hotel that is 100m away from the Marine Tourist Guest House offers supperior services and more comfortable stay for the same price.

As young holiday goers, we loved the variety of breakfast options at Marine Tourist Guest House. The toasts, eggs, and coffee were delicious and gave us a great start to the day. The comfortable dorm beds with big lockers and individual cupboards were perfect for us, and the shared bathrooms were always clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We felt extremely safe at Marine Tourist Guest House and had no complaints at all.

Short version. I don't know who gave this place the good write-ups, but following two nights here I stayed at a hotel near the airport for the third night and booked an early flight home for the following day. Sri Lankan Airways were helpful and made no charge for the ammendment.

Stayed there one night before Starting our tour. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to our rooms. Yes wonderfully spacious with great views over negombo town and out to sea. The facilities were quite modern but basic with hot water which was nice after weeks of cold showers ( but then again march in sri lanka was very hot ). the room was well lit and we enjoyed having a mini bar which was quickly filled with beers !!! we were lazy and got pizza hut that night but that was enjoyed sitting out on that balcony drinking our anchor beers !!! They help us in organising our tour in sri lanka,with valuable information. Plenty of resturants around thanks guys - nice place great value spacious rooms

There are tuk-tuk drivers and some travel office in lewis road.(around this guest house). When you want to check,the availability for public bus or train...there reply is" No buses and trains"
